HI, I AM CLAUDIA !
My name is Claudia, and I have always been passionate about staying active, particularly through sports and dancing. Growing up, dancing was a big part of my life, especially ballroom dance, which I absolutely love. However, as a teenager, I started experiencing lower back pain that gradually began to affect my physical abilities, even in activities I was most passionate about.
Four years ago, my osteopath introduced me to Pilates, suggesting it as a way to improve my posture, muscle tone, strength, and joint mobility, all while managing my back pain. From the very first session, I was hooked. Not only did it ease my pain, but it also enhanced my overall physical performance, including my dancing.
Pilates is highly recommended for ballroom dancers and is almost a necessity for professional tango dancers due to its focus on core strength, stability, and flexibility. Interestingly, it’s also widely practised by professional footballers to prevent injuries and improve endurance.
Inspired by its benefits, I decided to pursue training and am now a qualified Body Control Pilates teacher. My goal is to help others achieve a strong and healthy spine, body, and mind. Beyond physical health, Pilates is also a fantastic way to manage stress and tension, making it a holistic practice for overall well-being.
